  1. 2009 April 22

We’d like to invite all of the members and constituents of your group to several free events at the United Nations next month. This is a great opportunity for students to visit the United Nations and to see civil society in action.

UN Messenger of Peace Michael Douglas, supermodel/humanitarian Christie Brinkley and a slew of the world’s most experienced and influential diplomats will come together to discuss the dangers of nuclear weapons and what we can do about them. One of our aims is to reach out beyond the corridors of the UN and to involve students and concerned citizens across this city.

Would you help us spread the word?

A full listing of our events is available here. We’ve also attached a flyer that we encourage you to spread far and wide. Please give us a call at any time if you have any questions or concerns. Ask to speak to Rhianna Tyson, the Senior Officer of the Global Security Institute.

As we mentioned, the events are free but individuals MUST register no later than April 29 to Rhianna at: rtyson@gsinstitute.org; +1 646 289 5170.

    Thank you,
